Alcoholic skin antiseptic with chlorhexidine
CHEMISEPT HF is an ethanol-based skin antiseptic with 2% chlorhexidine digluconate for preoperative skin antisepsis and surgical procedures. It can also be used for disinfection of non-invasive medical devices.
CHEMISEPT HF has a broad spectrum of bactericidal (incl. MRSA), mycobactericidal (incl. Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacterium terrae) and yeasticidal activity, and is active against viruses (incl. HBV, HIV, HCV, BVDV, Vaccinia and Rota). Chlorhexidine provides long-lasting antimicrobial activity for up to 24 hours. Its colourless composition makes it suitable for cosmetic procedures.
CHEMISEPT HF COLOR contains an orange colourant, which helps to visualise the treated skin area.

Ready to use; apply to the skin by spraying or swabbing.
Before injections and blood sampling: spray or rub with a soaked swab, ensure thorough wetting and let dry. Time of effect 30 seconds.
Preoperative skin antisepsis: apply to the operation area with forceps and a soaked swab, twice (45 seconds each). Total time of effect 90 seconds. Incision film may only be applied on dry skin.
